I haven't done any plane travel by this new airline yet, I just made a visit to the airport :-) It seems like there's a construction to expand the road off from the main highway leading down to the airport. Here's some pics of the airport from my visit.

First of all, I want to thank you for your blog. Now that I know there is an operator doing Bangkok/Korat, I would like to find out where this airport is located in Korat. If possible GPS coordinates would be the best. Otherwise maybe some prominent government building or a big retailer would be good landmarks for people unfamiliar with Korat. Thank you very much.

ReplyDeleteNakhon Ratchasima airport is located in Amphoe Chaloem Phra Kiat, 26 km east of the city. From the city travel down the highway 226 around 20 km, then make a right turn for another 6 km to the airport. There's a good direction sign along the highway.
