Sra Kaew Pond

Sra Kaew which means "crystal pond" is one of four old ponds in Korat downtown. Sra Kaew situated near Wat Sra Kaew Temple, you can see the white wall of the temple on one side of the pond. Regarding wikipedia the other three ponds are Sra Maew, Sra Kwan and Sra Bua.

Relaxing @ Suan Rukkachat - a Forest Park

I like this green place so much, my secret hidden place. ;-) The Park located on the highway 304, just the first U-turn after pass intersection with traffic light to The King Stadium. An official name is Khanchana Phisek Park.

Ruam Jai Market PTT & RTA (Suranaree Base)

Ruam Jai market is a cooperative of PTT Public Co and Royal Thai Army. This is my regular fresh market on the way  back home, Ruam Jai Market located in the area of Suranaree Military Camp. The market is very new, just opened a few months ago. It operates in the afternoon, very lively on the weekday.

Korat Loi Krathong 2011 @ Nong Kae Chang Lake

This is the general atmosphere of Loi Krathong festival in Korat @ Nong Kae Chang Lake where close to Wat Pa Salawan Temple. You can see the beautiful Chedi in the background and the beautiful big Krathong "Krathong Thama Nava" front for the Chedi. The festival here this year was very simple, mainly local came for floating their Krathong in the lake .. calm and beautiful...

ลอยกระทงโคราช 2554 ปีนี้ไปไม่ใกล้ไม่ไกลที่หนองแก้ช้างนี้เอง ... หนองแก้ช้างเป็นหนองน้ำเล็กๆ ใกล้วัดป่าสาลวัน มีกระทงธรรมนาวาตั้งอยู่ด้านหน้าบูรพาจารย์เจดีย์ที่สวยงามด้วยแสงไฟในค่ำคืนลอยกระทง บรรยากาศปีนี้เรียบๆง่ายๆ บรรยากาศครอบครัว คนในละแวกนั้นต่างจูงลูกหลานมาลอยกระทง ความสงบเงียบ แสงไฟประดับประดาบางตาเมื่อเทียบกับปีก่อนๆ ทำให้ได้บรรยากาศของการระลึกถึง การเคารพและขอขมาต่อสายน้ำ หลายๆคนลอยกระทง และนั่งดูกระทงตัวเองลอยไปอย่างสงบจนแสงเทียนภายในกระทงดับลง...

Amazon Cafe @ PTT Hua Tale

Atmosphere of Amazon Cafe, everwhere is almost the same but here in Hua Tale, it's just different. Coffee in the windy time and the rural view just make me day dream easily ;-)
