Lan Luk Mai Dang Restaurant

Lan Luk Mai Dang is a very nice Thai restaurant in Korat City. The restaurant has been open for many years. They have tables in the garden if you like the feeling of having a meal in the garden and its pretty nice in day time. And they also have a private air-con room. The service is good, all the Thai dishes I have were just excellent. The restaurant open daily for lunch and dinner. The Restaurant is about 4 km from downtown, located on Mukkhamontri road (Soi Savai Lieng), it's just behide Tesco Lotus Superstore.

Pleng Korat (Nowadays)

Pleng Korat or Korat Song was performing while I was in town the other day. The purpose to be performed there nowadays is for Thao Suranaree in return for her helping to fulfill ones wish.

Swimming at Fantasia Lagoon (The Mall)

On Saturday Morning I took my niece to swim at Fantasia Lagoon inside The Mall Korat. I used M-card so its free for entering. The place open from about 10 AM to 6 PM for kid pools and the big pool close at 8 PM. There's some quick meal sale in the area.

Parade for Vegetarian Festival 2010 in Korat City

This year 2010, The Vegetarian Festival started with a parade through the City of Korat in the morning of 8th October. The Parade lead by the marching band from Suranaree Witthaya School, followed by people from different Chinese temples in Korat including the performing of Chinese Dragons team along the parade route. It took about an hour for the parade to complete the circuit of the city and ended at Thao Suranaree Monument. People who took part in the ceremony all dress up in white cloth.
