Sweet Garden Restaurant is on Hyw304 near Pepsi. There's quite a lot on the menu. Well, something different around this area, west of the town. This place used to be a big plant shop, now still a lovely garden behind the restaurant.

Mae Noei Vietnamese restaurant is on Suebsiri Road Soi 3, not far from Wat Pa Salawan Temple. Good Vietnamese food.

Khao Yai Tieng Hill & Suan Muang Porn Restaurant

We drove to Si Khiu District, around the area of Klong Pai Sub-District, turn left up to the top of Khao Yai Tieng Hill. We enjoyed the natural view on the top and the Windmill site.

After that we came down for lunch at Suan Muang Porn Restaurant. Most tables are outdoor, under shade, food is fine, very nice scenic view from the restaurant.

Ar-E BBQ and Buffet

Ar-E BBQ and Buffet is still one popular restaurant on Suebsiri road. 169 Baht per person, wide range of buffet menu, seafood, BBQ, salad, sweet etc. There's some live music in the evening. Go there early, the restaurant get busy very quick. I find out that it s rather too noisy this time for me. If you love peace and quiet, relaxing dinner, this place is really not suit you.

Muang Ong Noodle

Muang Ong Noodle is a bit out of town, around 6 km from downtown, it's on a small street opposite Pho Klang Police Station. Good noodle, simple atmosphere, very busy place at lunch time.

Pork noodle, Duck noodle, fried spring rolls, ice milk tea,..

It seems a special menu there is "dish of chicken feet" . I haven't tried one, I just don't like the sight of chicken feet in the dish so much.

Rabiang Nam Restaurant Korat

Rabiang Nam has a wonderful atmosphere especially if you like sitting outdoor by the water, having a meal while the sun is setting, the sky slowly get dark. The Thai food there was great too. The restaurant is located a bit out of town, it's in the area of Tiger Golf at Wing 1.

Gai Yang Suebsiri - famous grilled chicken place on Suebsiri road

Gai Yang Suebsiri, one famous local restaurant on Suebsiri road, west of Korat town, located nearby Wat Amphawan Temple. The atmosphere there was very simple but all those northeastern dishes were just delicious. The famous menu there is Gai Yang (grilled chicken), but this time I tried a Boiled Giant Cat Fish with garlic and soy sauce, very nice and some other dishes such as Papaya salad, Fried Korat noodle (Pad-Mee Korat), Grilled pork neck and Sticky rice.

Kru Yod Restaurant @ Sawai Rieng

The famous Kru Yod Restaurant is in Pradok area, this one is a little branch in Sawai Rieng on Mukkramontri street. The restaurant is actually in the area of Muang Ya 100 years market. The featured dish is Kanom Cheen Ban Pradok  ขนมจีนบ้านประโดก (Thai vercimil eat with curry and vegetable). Although the market operates in the evening but the restaurant open for lunch too.

Koh Thip Restaurant

My first time at Koh Thip Restaurant, located on Suranarai 13 Rd. The food was nice, the evening atmosphere was nice but all the staffs there seemed to enjoy The Olympics 2012 live on TV more than doing their job :-)

Muang Ya 100 Years Market

Although the name of the market sounds like an old market but it just opened this year. "Muang Ya 100 Years market" is a night market, very busy in the evening. The market itself is quite new but some old houses in the market and the area which is very old called "Sawai Rieang", that makes the name of the market. I've tried many foods there, so many choices and quite delicious. The day I took these pictues I've just been there too early so it's still quiet. The market is located on Mukkramontri street, the parking area is behind the market.
