This year (2012) Korat has a new bilingual school, Sarasas Witaed Nakhon Ratchasima School.
The school offers bilingual programme(Thai-English) and mini bilingual programme both for KG.1-M.1 (Kindergarten, primary grade 1-6 and secondary grade 7) The school located at the outskirt of the town onto the road to Suranaree University of Technology.

Interesting. When will it fully open? I think, however, that I will homeschool my children.
ReplyDeleteThe first semester will be started in May 2012 but they have a class for kids in March. (for kids to prepare themselves I guess).

ReplyDeleteI am planning a trip to Isaan this coming May and would like to pass through Korat and tour the new school and general area. I have 4 years of teaching experience in the BKK area and am considering changing to a rural school. I'm Thai, but was educated in the USA, living there 30+ years.

Thanks for the info on schools. I received some info from you a few years ago ( on the old Korat Farang Forum ), regarding special schools in Korat. Are the same schools still running and do you know of any new ones?
