Mahidol Day 2015 in Korat

On 24 September every years is Mahidol Day, the day to commemorates the death of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkhla, the current King's father. He is regarded as the father of modern medicine and public health in Thailand. His vision, ceaseless dedication and achievements have inspired many to search for better and healthier lives.

In Korat there's a ceremony to commemorate his kindness, Korat Vice Governor along with local officials, doctors, nurses and medical students took part the ceremony to lay a wreath at His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkhla statue in Maharat Hospital.

Community products Fair and Exhibition

Nakhon Ratchasima Community Development Provincial Office hosts the five-day fair and exhibition from 24 September 2015 to 28 September 2015, to support the locally made products, features products from southern part of the northeast region, also the community exhibition and cultural performance. The fair takes place in central of the town front of The City Hall.

TRUE AMath King's Trophy 2015

Another Big Event take place in Korat. The 10th TRUE AMath King's Trophy 2015 take place at  MCC Hall The Mall Nakhonratchasima on September 4-6, 2015. Organised by the Thailand Crossword Game A-Math Kumkom and Sudoku Association. Around 5,000 students from schools all over the country join the competition. The winner will receive a trophy from HM the King, a cash prize and True Smart Phone 4G.
