The Opening of Rattanavejjapat Building, SUT Hospital, Korat

Today (17 Nov 2014) HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn represented HM the King attend to The Presented Graduate Certificates of Suranaree University of Technology for the Academic Year 2014 and The Opening of Rattanavejjapat Building, Suranaree University of Technology Hospital.

People attend the event and some pictures of the hospital exhibition inside the building.

Theppharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital

Theppharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital formerly is Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital or Maharat II Hospital. Now it's main public hospital in the west of Korat, located in Kok Kruat District, around 20 km from downtown. It's a little far out but the service is really pleasant and less crowded compare to those main ones in downtown.

Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital

Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital or Maharat II Hospital (former name) is located in Kok Kruat District on the main Highway, Mittraprap. Its around 20 km from Korat downtown. Some main buildings is still underconstruction. I suppose it will be another big public hospital in the west of Korat in the future. Here's a few pics. I took my mom there for her eye surgery.

pic taken from front of emergency at the old building. The tall new building in the distance is still under construction. the small two storeys in front is ward for eye patients. Its a bit inconvenient, the patients stay at that ward and when the time of surgenry they sent the hospital van to pick them up to the old building for surgery.

Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital

Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital is the largest hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima province. It's the public hospital located on Chang Purk Road at the edge of the city. The hospital established in 1909 and just celebrate 100 year aniversary!

Here's photos taken in one of my trip to see doctor there. During a long queue waiting to see doctor, I took a chace to take these pictures.

Most pictures taken outside the building and at the parking building where Maharat shop, library and food court are on the first floor.

โรงพยาบาลมหาราชนครราชสีมา ได้เริ่มก่อตั้งขึ้นตามประกาศจัดตั้งสุขาภิบาล ตำบลโพธิ์กลาง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา เมื่อวันที่ 28 กันยายน 2452 โดยจัดตั้งโรงพยาบาลเพื่อรักษาพยาบาลผู้ป่วย ได้แก่โรงพยาบาลสุขาภิบาลที่ 1 จากตำบลโพธิ์กลาง มารวมกับโรงพยาบาลสุขาภิบาลที่ 2 ตำบลสวนหม่อนและเรียกว่า “โรงพยาบาลสวนหม่อน”
ปี 2517 กระทรวงสาธารณสุข มีนโยบายในการจัดตั้งโรงพยาบาลระดับโรงพยาบาลศูนย์ขึ้นในจังหวัดใหญ่ๆ ประจำทุกภาคทั่วประเทศ จำนวน 14 แห่ง
โรงพยาบาลนครราชสีมา เป็นโรงพยาบาลขนาดใหญ่ จึงได้รับการพิจารณาจัดตั้งเป็นโรงพยาบาลศูนย์แห่งหนึ่งของภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ โดยรัฐบาลและกระทรวงสาธารณสุขได้พิจารณาที่จะปรับปรุง โรงพยาบาลที่มีขนาดใหญ่ให้เป็น โรงพยาบาลมหาราช ขึ้นตามภาคต่างๆ ของประเทศ เพื่อเป็นการเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่9

ปัจจุบันโรงพยาบาลมหาราชนครราชสีมา เป็นโรงพยาบาลศูนย์ขนาด 1,019 เตียง ปี 2551 มีผู้ป่วยใน 85,391 ราย / ปี และผู้ป่วยนอกเฉลี่ยวันละ 2,397 คน ผู้ป่วยในรับใหม่เฉลี่ยวันละ 234 คน อัตราการครองเตียง 121.96 มีบุคลากรปฏิบัติงานจำนวน 3,244 คน ประกอบด้วยแพทย์ ทันตแพทย์ เภสัชกร พยาบาล และบุคลากรสนับสนุนงานด้านสาธารณสุข
