In our community we did gathering in the evening to pay respect to H.M. The King on the occassion of his 84th Birthday. We lighted candles and sang a song together to celebrate for The King.

Korat is holding an exhibition "Korat Love The King" in honor of The King Bhumipol during 2-5 December 2011 at Thao Suranaree Monument. The event including the book fair and some other activities to to celebrate the 7th cycle of HM the King's birthday.

Korat People lighting candles for the King

On the King's Birthday 5 December 2009, in the evening at Korat City Hall Forcourt (Sala Klang), Nakhon Ratchasima Governor along with Korat people paid respect to H.M. The King on the occassion of his 82nd Birthday. The main celebration activities were candle-lighting ceremony, fireworks display, Thai performances and some other activities after the ceremony such as Youth Orchesta perform at Thao Suranaree Monument.

จังหวัดนครราชสีมา จัดพิธีถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณ และถวายพระพรชัยมงคลเนื่องในวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 5 ธันวามหาราช โดยในช่วงเย็นวันที่ 5 ธันวาคม 2552 ที่บริเวณสนามหน้าศาลากลางจังหวัดนครราชสีมา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัด พร้อมด้วยเหล่าข้าราชการ นักเรียน นักศึกษา และประชาชนชาวโคราช ได้ประกอบพิธีถวายพานพุ่มพร้อมกล่าวถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณตน และถวายพระพรแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติเนื่องในวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 5 ธันวามหาราช มีการแสดงรำไทยโดยนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนต่างๆ การแสดงและขับร้องดนตรีไทย การแสดงพลุเพื่อเฉลิมฉลอง นอกจากนี้ยังมีการแสดงออเคสต้าจากโรงเรียนสุรนารีวิทยา บริเวณลานย่าโม

The Ceremony on the King's Birthday in Korat

On the King's Birthday, 5 December 2009 at 8.15 AM, Nakhon Ratchasima Governor, along with Second Army Area Commander, and local government official in Nakhon Ratchasima Province were on the ceremony of taking an oath of allegiance to mark The King 82nd Birthday at Prem Thinnasuranon Hall, located behind Korat City Hall.

ในวันที่ 5 ธันวาคม 2552 เวลา 08.30 น. ณ หอประชุมเปรมติณสูลานนท์ อ.เมือง จ.นครราชสีมา นายประจักษ์ สุวรรณภักดี ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนครราชสีมา ได้นำเหล่าข้าราชการ ประกอบพิธีเฉลิมฉลองวันชาติไทย และลงนามถวายพระพรชัยมงคล พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ พร้อมบำเพ็ญกุศลอุทิศถวายพระราชกุศล เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 82 พรรษา 5 ธันวาคม 2552

โดยผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดฯ นำข้าราชการกล่าวถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณเพื่อเป็นข้าราชการที่ดีและพลังแผ่นดิน เพื่อให้ข้าราชการทุกคนมีจิตสำนึกทัศนคติและประพฤติตนเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดี เป็นข้าราชการที่รักประชาชน ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์สุขต่อประชาชน สังคม และประเทศชาติสืบไป
