It's a long weekend here, we just want to go somewhere for a day trip. We decided to go visiting a brand new floating market in the Northeast! It's about an hour drive from Korat. Here we are! The floating market is in wide area with a little lake in the middle. It's not really a floating market in my opinion but still a lovely place to spend few hours with family. Although it's not a real floating market, not even close but I still enjoyed my time there. Most visitors are family group. There's a small fun park to keep all those kids busy while parents doing some shopping. The floating market is 2 kms off from main highway no.2 in Pak Chong District and Pak Chong is around 80 km. from Korat downtown.

Possible to get there by public transport? How close is it to Pak Chong town? Thanks.
ReplyDeletePak Chong Floating Market is on small street, 2 km off from Mittraprap Highway(By-pass). It's way outside the Pak Chong town. I guess you might be able to get local taxi from Pak Chong town to the market. Well but I'm not sure, I'm not familiar to Pak Chong.
