Lan flower in Full Bloom during Aug-Sep 2009.

"Lan flower" or "Dok Lan" (in Thai) in Tab Lan National Park is in full bloom this year during Aug to Sep, 2009.

Lan Tree bloom only once in 60 years and die in a short-time after blooming. This year 2009 the Lan flower is in full bloom all over the wide area of the National Park, the most beautiful in 60 years. Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) promote this period to be the best time for visitors to admire the beauty of them. The panoramic view can be seen at Geb Tawan Cliff (Pha Gep Tawan).

Tab Lan National Park is located in Wang Nam Khiao district, along the Highway no. 304, around 80 kms away from Korat City.

Fancy Parade in Korat City

These were fancy parade from Maharat Hospital, the biggest hospital in town, to celebrate 100 years Anniversary in 2009. The parade took place in Korat downtown. They seem have a lot of fun!

Memories of Huay Yang , a small reservoir of Korat ...

I remember when I was a kid, Huay Yang Reservoir was our favorite destination for the weekend. These days Huay Yang still hasn't changed much. There's always locals visit for recreation in the area nearby the water.

Huay Yang reservoir is about the closet reservoir to the Korat City, located at the edge of the city, drive off from highway no 2 (Mittraphap Highway) to Suranaree sub-district.

Huay Yang reservior covers the area of 1,300 Rai, located in Suranaree Sub-District, Muang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Sueb Siri Road

Suebsiri road on the west side of Korat. ถนนสืบศิริ โคราช

This is the local market on Sueb Siri, "Sam Yak Chon Pratan Market"

Here's Sueb Siri road in Febuary, very beautiful. The change from dry and cold season into summer.

The flower is called in Thai "Dok Koon" or "Dok Kullapaphuk"

Nakhon Ratchasima Municipal Court

Building of Nakhon Ratchasima Municipal Court, located on Ratchanikul Street outside the City Moat, near to Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Court and Chira Railway Station. Nakhon Ratchasima Municipal Court established in 1957. At the beginning, the court located next to Korat City Hall in a small building, later in 1991 the court moved into the same building of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Court. The court have moved to the present location since 1993.

ศาลแขวงนครราชสีมา

จัดตั้งขึ้นตามพระราชบัญญัติจัดตั้ง ศาลแขวงและวิธีพิจารณาความอาญาในศาลแขวง พ.ศ. 2499 โดยเปิดทำการตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มิถุนายน 2500 อาคารที่ทำการแห่งแรกเป็นตึกขนาดเล็ก ตั้งอยู่ใกล้เคียงกับศาลากลางจังหวัด นครราชสีมา ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ 14มีนาคม 2511 ได้ย้ายมาเปิดทำการรวมอยู่ในอาคารเดียวกันกับศาลจังหวัดนครราชสีมา จนกระทั่ง พ.ศ. 2534 จึงได้ดำเนินการก่อสร้างอาคารศาลแยกต่างหาก เนื่องจากปริมาณงานเพิ่มมากขึ้น และที่ทำการเดิมแออัดคับแคบ หลังจากก่อสร้างอาคารแล้วเสร็จเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2536 ศาลแขวงนครราชสีมาได้ย้ายมาเปิดทำการในอาคารหลังปัจจุบัน และสมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราช ฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมารเสด็จพระราชดำเนินมาทรงประกอบพิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์และเปิดอาคารที่ทำการศาลแขวงนครราชสีมาเมื่อวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2538

อาคารศาลแขวงนครราชสีมา ตั้งอยู่บนถนนราชนิกูล ใกล้กับอาคารศาลจังหวัดนครราชสีมาหลังใหม่ และใกล้บริเวณทางเข้าสถานีรถไฟจิระ
