In the early morning (6 AM) of the 1st January 2010 at Thao Suranaree Monument, thousands of Korat people gathering for making merit together in order to gain good luck, good fortune for the new year. The ceremony officially started at 7 AM by the time of Nakhon Ratchasima Governor arrival. The ceremony continued for half hour and ending with all the people offering food to the monks.
