If you are in the city and looking for nice Thai restaurant. Sipsongpanna is the one that I will recommend. My impression is about the atmosphere.

We had a table close to the pool and garden but still be able to enjoy the live folk song they had in the evening. We enjoyed some dishes of Thai food. The restaurant is on small street off from Yommaraj street where you can see some other pubs and restaurants nearby.
